Website terms

Clear terms for using this website.

These terms apply to easystepdigital.com. Separate written terms apply when you commission project work from us.

About these terms

These terms govern your use of easystepdigital.com (the “website”), operated by EasyStepDigital. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.

Information about our services

The website describes design, development, branding, SEO, AEO, GEO and digital-support services. Website content is general information and an invitation to discuss work; it is not a binding offer.

Sending an enquiry does not create a contract. A project begins only when the parties accept a written proposal, statement of work or service agreement identifying the scope, price, payment terms, timetable and any project-specific conditions.

Using the website

You may use the website for lawful personal or business purposes. You must not:

  • break any applicable law or encourage unlawful conduct;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, server or connected systems;
  • introduce malware, harmful code, denial-of-service traffic or automated abuse;
  • scrape or extract substantial website content without permission;
  • misrepresent your identity or submit false, defamatory or infringing material;
  • use the website in a way that interferes with another person’s use.

We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website or its users.

Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, the website’s design, text, graphics, code, branding and other content are owned by or licensed to EasyStepDigital and are protected by intellectual property law.

You may view pages and print or save a reasonable copy for your own internal evaluation. You may not reproduce, publish, sell, license, alter or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission. Client names, logos and third-party marks belong to their respective owners.

Portfolio and educational content

Portfolio concepts are identified as concept work and should not be interpreted as a claim that the named concept business commissioned the project. Client material is shown only where we believe we have an appropriate basis to do so.

Guides and articles are general educational information, not legal, financial or other regulated professional advice. Search engines, answer engines and generative systems are controlled by third parties; visibility, rankings, traffic and citations cannot be guaranteed.

Accuracy and availability

We take reasonable care over website content but do not promise that every item will always be complete, current or error-free. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or secure availability.

You are responsible for configuring your devices, software and network appropriately and for using your own security protection.

Third-party services and links

The website may load or link to third-party services. Links do not mean that we endorse or control the linked website. Third parties are responsible for their own content, availability and terms. You should review those terms before using an external service.

Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

If you use the website for business purposes, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings or data arising solely from use of—or inability to use—the public website. Any liability relating to commissioned services is governed by the applicable written service agreement.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your statutory consumer rights. We are responsible for foreseeable loss caused by our breach of these website terms, but not loss that was not foreseeable or that results from a use outside the purpose of this website.

Privacy and cookies

Our privacy notice explains how we handle personal information. Our cookie notice explains the use of cookies and similar technology.

Changes and enforceability

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website, our practices or the law. The latest version applies from the date shown on this page. If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that a consumer living elsewhere in the United Kingdom may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where they live. Any mandatory local consumer protections continue to apply.
